Review of first quarter 2018

The first quarter of 2018 seems to have sped by very quickly! Despite the awful weather my feet have hardly touched the ground as we continue to grow the business and respond to new demand!

Walking Tours

Since the publication of our new leaflet about all the Beer Tours I run business has picked up significantly and I’ve spent literally hours guiding walking tours all over the City of London. Feedback has been great and is helping me to refine content and keep the offer fresh. Read more here about the range of beer tours we offer https://www.thecraftbeerman.co.uk/beer-tours/

Craft Brewing

I’ve become a regular brewing at the Oak tavern and tap house in Sevenoaks where I have been helping the owners to sustain their brewing at the pub’s microbrewery.  This is leading to more involvement in the local community and the opportunity to launch some beer related pub quiz nights. Watch this space as we publish more details!

As a holder of the Institute of Brewing (IBD) qualification in Brewing, as well as a Brewing, Food & Beverage Industry Suppliers Association (BFBI) qualification in Cellar services I can step in to micro breweries and assist and advise as required.

Summer events and beer festivals

Momentum is growing – I’ve been busy booking in a variety of events for the summer, some private and some corporate. I’m also arranging the 5th Knockholt beer festival in September and we will be bringing you more information about this much loved event nearer the time.

Craft Beer Rising, London February 2018

Had a fantastic time visiting the CBR which since its inception has built a solid reputation as the launchpad for exciting new brews and innovations in the brewing industry. Beer fans travel from afar to taste the beers, check out product launches and for the rare chance to meet the faces behind the brands. This year 175 breweries exhibited at CBR with well-established beer brands.

Beer Spotlight on my Blog

I’ve started a regular Blog on my website where I feature various guest beers and I invite you to share this with your own followers. Its starting to gain momentum and if anybody has any beers they want me to critique just get in touch!

Keep up to date with the latest from The Craft Beer Man here on my website.
